About a year ago, we lost my cousin, David "DJ" Cohen, after a prolonged battle with cancer.  While I didn't get to spend enough time with DJ, I learned so many important lessons while watching how he lived his life.  In the face of the ultimate adversity, he kept going, kept smiling and changed the world around him.  He taught me that our biggest challenges are our best opportunities to shine and make a difference.

In my moments of doubt, struggle, and pain, I think of DJ and it suddenly becomes easier to endure, push through and smile.

This year, I'm running in memory of DJ and to support Sephardic Bikur Holim (SBH), an organization that stands by those who need support and assistance as they face life's struggles.  In addition, I'm also training over a dozen other runners to help them face the challenge of 13.1 miles and make their way through it to the finish line!

I greatly appreciate your support!
